Does a person's dream necessarily accurately reflect the life God created that person to live? While I hear what Erwin is saying, one could end up selfishly pursuing their dream as if it was a divine mandate when God was actually calling them to deny themselves (including their dreams)to follow Him. It is challenging to discern.
I hear you, but you've also got "delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart." I think the closer we are to God the more his desires become our desires. Then, if we live our dream we are living what God wants for us.
Definitely has to be a dream founded in our relationship with God... not a selfish dream apart from God.
